Mars 2020 Dare Mighty Things Enamel Coin with Floating Frame
Our commemorative Mars 2020 2" enamel coin! Once side of the coin is designed after the beautiful supersonic parachute which slowed the spacecraft to a much more manageable 940mph. Encoded in the design of the parachute is the message "Dare Mighty Things" along with the GPS coordinates of JPL. Around the parachute we added in the message "Are we alone? We came here to look for signs of life, and to collect samples of Mars for study on Earth. To those who follow, we wish a safe journey and the joy of discovery." This message is engraved around the edge of the calibration target aboard NASA's Perseverance rover. On the other side of the coin in the Mars 2020 patch along with the date is landed successfully in the Jazero Crate on Mars. This beautiful coin comes with the floating frame so that you can display it proudly!
