SpaceX In Flight Abort Hard Enamel Pin
A spectacular 1.5" hard enamel pin of the SpaceX In Flight Abort mission, testing the emergency abort procedure for the Crew Dragon Capsule. Launched January 18th 2020 on a falcon 9 rocket, B1046.4, from LC-39A at the Kennedy Space Center at 10:30am. After about 84 seconds from liftoff Crew Dragon initiated its pre-programmed escape system, successfully firing its super draco engines, pulling it away from the 1st stage of the rocket. The abort was a complete success and the resulting explosion of the first stage was quite a spectacle! So, get yourself a pin of the mission patch, the last step for SpaceX before launching American Astronauts to the International Space station for the first time from American soil since the Space Shuttle was retired!
